Burger
Description
A burger is one of the most popular comfort foods around the world, loved for its juicy, flavorful patty and endless topping possibilities. Traditionally made with a ground beef patty grilled to perfection, it’s placed between two halves of a soft, toasted bun and layered with fresh vegetables and sauces.
The beauty of a burger lies in its versatility — you can customize it with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, or any condiment you like. Whether served at a fast-food joint or a gourmet restaurant, the burger remains a timeless classic that satisfies every craving.
Ingredients
- 1 burger bun (sesame or plain)
- 1 beef patty (about 150g)
- 1 slice of cheese (optional)
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 2 tomato slices
- Onion rings (optional)
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or mustard

Steps
- Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Season the beef patty with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Cook the patty for about 3–4 minutes per side or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- If using cheese, place a slice on top of the patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the burger buns lightly on the pan or grill until golden brown.
- Spread ketchup and mayonnaise (or mustard) on the buns.
- Assemble the burger: place lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the patty, tomato slices, and onions.
- Cover with the top bun, press gently, and serve hot with fries or salad.
